Reduction of excessive plastic packaging
Our goal is to eliminate the use of single-use plastic packaging entirely.
To achieve this, we will gradually remove the transparent films that currently protect our candles and diffusers.
This decision helps reduce waste and curb the excessive consumption of plastic packaging.
Transition to glass
We offer you to choose glass bottles for our liquid soaps. This initiative is part of our commitment to eventually eliminate single-use plastic packaging.
Our 1L refills allow you to reuse your glass bottle simply by refilling it with the fragrance of your choice!
An empty reusable glass bottle is also available on our website.
Packaging of our soaps
The packaging for our bar soaps meets FSC Mixed standards and is proudly made in France. Sourced from responsibly managed forests, it is crafted using recycled paper.
Our ingredients
Palm Oil – Official RSPO Certified
Our bar soaps contain plant-based palm oil sourced from controlled agriculture. La Savonnerie Royale holds the official RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certification, which guarantees that our brand supports sustainable palm oil farming : economically viable, environmentally responsible, and socially beneficial.
This carefully chosen oil is used in our solid soaps for its exceptional ability to preserve the soap’s fragrance.
We selected this outstanding ingredient for its skin-loving qualities: rich in restructuring properties, it deeply hydrates and helps restore elasticity.
Shea Butter
Our solid soaps are enriched with certified organic shea butter (harvested in Burkina Faso) at the highest concentration to ensure a firm texture. Organic shea butter offers numerous benefits: it deeply hydrates and nourishes the skin while forming a protective barrier. It soothes and repairs, especially for dry and damaged skin.
Shea butter is derived from wild-growing trees that bear fruit. The nuts are carefully separated from their pulp, washed, prepared, and sun-dried. The kernel containing the nourishing fat used to produce the butter is extracted. These kernels are then ground into a brown paste, which, after being blended with water, transforms into the creamy, pale shea butter we cherish.
Wax of our Scented Candles
The wax used in La Savonnerie Royale’s scented candles is natural, plant-based, and vegan. It is crafted from mango butter, coconut oil, and soybean oil.
This wax was carefully selected for its flawlessly smooth and pristine white appearance. It burns cleanly, without releasing any toxic smoke.
Regarding traceability, our brand’s wax supplier is Spanish, while our exquisite fragrances are created and manufactured in Grasse, France.
For added safety and purity, the wicks in La Savonnerie Royale’s scented candles are made from 100% cotton.
