CHANTILLY CASTLE
The Château de Chantilly is one of the crowning jewels of French heritage. It is also the work of a man with an exceptional destiny: Henri d’Orléans, Duke of Aumale (1822-1897), fifth son of Queen Marie-Amélie and King Louis-Philippe, the last king of France.

FONTAINEBLEAU CASTLE
The castle of Fontainebleau was first built as a hunting pavilion, that was later transformed into a fortified castle. It was built by François I in 1527, in Renaissance-style. His successors extended it with classical buildings. The interior decoration continued to evolve until the July Monarchy.
